Mr. Linden, Miss Min.D - - both of Seattle, and Joseph “DJ Dimension” Mercado of Phoenix, formerly New York and Miami talk to me (Jack Mangan) about the highs and lows and joys, frustrations, and dangers of the DJ music life and club community.

~Bottom line is, we love the music. I remember, I was like, maybe 10 years old, and I had the old tape recorder, black thing, the little buttons on the, you know, and I was recording off the radio, doing the DJ thing.

~She's more of a boots. . . cats. . . boots, cats, boots. . . cats. . . boots, cats.

~Oh, you're pretty good for a girl.

~The Limelight(NYC) was notorious for some of the crazy shit that went on there.

~The problem is that in the clubs, vices are very readily available. So it's super easy. So you just have to be careful.

~I didn't know. I just made it because I like the sound, but I wasn't putting a label on it myself. So you know just I'm learning as I go.

~Bottom line is, we love the music. I remember, I was like, maybe 10 years old, and I had the old tape recorder, black thing, the little buttons on the, you know, and I was recording off the radio, doing the DJ thing.

~It's so hard to make any movement in the industry now.

~Shout out to DJ Esteban.
